MATARIKI IS THE PERFECT OCCASION FOR THE ALLIANCE TO CELEBRATE ALONG BASTILLE DAY.

Matariki is a great time to gather with whānau, family and friends, to reflect on the past, celebrate the present, and plan for the future.

A pandemic, a recession, and all those challenges we went through that can now be let go of!
Come and raise your glass with us to celebrate the new!

A get together, where all will mingle - music, and cinema for those incline.

The Alliance will offer a small glass of bubbles or else, and some small things to eat, and we took Marie-Antoinette's recommendation very seriously last year... so we will keep having a revolutionary cake!!
An opportunity to celebrate the Fête Nationale - Bastille day and to  welcome Matariki and les Pleiades.

As it is normally the Cine club , we invite you to bring your own and share with others.
As always , we preach conviviality, so please feel free to BYO drinks and a plate to share for dinner.
IMPORTANT: We are  at the Refinery Art Space, 114 Hardy Street, Nelson CBD, from 5.30pm.

Please let us know you are coming, - an RSVP will be needed to ensure we have enough chairs and especially glass (!) and cake - click on the button 
The place will open at the usual time of 5.30 pm and the film will start  later than our usual 6.30 pm.

The refinery will have a Matariki special event before we arrive, so please come at or after 5.30pm.

 Le deuxième Vendredi de chaque mois, (sauf Janvier) nous vous accueillons dans notre ciné-club pour quelques amuse-bouches et autre encas et pour regarder un film français, 
Tous les détails seront envoyés par e-mail, avec la newsletter .
Venez profiter d’un film français avec sous-titres en anglais et discussion avant, pendant et après. Les portes s’ouvrent à 17h30 et le film commence après 18h15.
Nous prêchons la convivialité, alors s’il vous plaît, n’hésitez pas à BYO boissons et une assiette à partager pour le souper.  Et notez que nous avons des chaises en plastique, donc BYO coussin pour un siège plus confortable.

On the second Friday of each month,  we welcome you to our cinema club for some appetizers and other snacks (BYO) and to watch a French film, 

All details will be sent by e-mail, with the newsletter .
Come and enjoy a French movie with English subtitles and discussion before, during and after. The doors open at 17:30 and the film starts after 18:15.

We preach conviviality, so please feel free to BYO drinks and a plate to share for dinner. Tea and coffee are available. And note that we have plastic chairs, so BYO cushion for a more comfortable seat.
