Concours Oral National 2021
Every year, the Fédération of Alliances Françaises of New Zealand organises a National French Speaking Competition for secondary school pupils called the "Concours Oral". National Prizes to be won this year:
The National Concours Oral exam will take place on Saturday 25 September in each region and in Nelson will be run by the Alliance Française. For more details on this event, please contact: Anne Wheeler 027 381 9791 NATIONAL CONCOURS ORAL RULES ®ULATIONS 2021: year_12_co_rules_2021.docx Le concours de quoi s'agit-il?
The Alliance Française Nelson Tasman participates in the Concours Oral and has a "Top of the South" "Haut du sud" competition in July/August every two years.
The Concours Oral assesses the conversational skills of the high school students. Each student will be interviewed separately, during approximatively 10 – 15 minutes, by 2 “judges” - French speaking or fluent in French, mainly Alliance members – on the topics the student has covered in the last year. It will take the form of a conversation, with the judges making sure the students feel comfortable and prompting them to speak. French teachers will receive an email detailing this information. Please scroll down to "Send us a query" if your school has been missed out or for more detailed information. |
